    pecs uneven!!

    I know this has been posted b4 but one of my pecs is lagging behind the other in size development. Using the barbell...my right side takes more of the benefit though both sides seem to work evenly. I cannot discontinue the bb presses though bc they produce so much growth and strength so much more quickly than do dumbells. I have been told to use db's to cure this...and I did a chest workout consisting entirely of dumbells and only dumbells today...but the majority of the time it will be barbell ebcause my body overall responds better to bb. my remedy has been doing flat db presses for about 3 sets with just my left side at the end of my workouts. My question is this....should i use one arm dumbell presses....or simply use just my left side with a hammer strength machine. my gym has flat bench lying down hammer strength machine for chest....hammer strength chest press seated upright...and one hammer strength "wide chest" machine. all can be done usuing just one side..my question is this....which one is probably the best way to catch it up?

    im in the same situation as you. i find that the barbells make me grow faster too. try doing your regular workout but then also try doing DB flys with just your left arm and use the chest machines and do one arm at a time.

    How much time did you give the db routine, I doubt you gave it long enough.

    Yeah bro, i would stick with the db routine, personally i feel like i gain more w/ them. Look at arnold he used a bunch of dumbells. Do a bunch of dif inclines and declines with dumbells, and your weaker arm will catch up because the weights in that hand will feel heavier.

    yeha well i appreciate all the information guys. The only thing about usuing hammer strength machines for my left side to catch it up is that i never do the machines normally and i dont want my left side grow in a different way than my left side which is why i was doing one arm dumbells because that is an exercise i typically do and would in theory produce growth and devlopement ona scale even with my right side. and as for my usage of dumbells...i usually use all dumeblls every 3rd-4th time i train chest and i do incline presses with dumbells about every workout. the only time i don't use db for incline is on the dyas i decide to go all out heavy ballistic style about every 10-13 days. i always do db flyes or incline db flyes...and i usually do dips for lower chest or dbs.

    i switch off between barbell and DB and sometimes do a mixture or both
