Sorry dude, but when whenever a girl tells me what I was in my past life or about the spirits in her home I tend to run the hell away.
What actually is a spirit problem?
Haha, a spirit problem? You mean like she drinks too much cause that's the only spirit problem I can think of.
i messed around w/ a ouija board ONCE
Some unexplainable information presented itself through it... and lemme say this.
i was utterly and completly scepticle, until i tried it for myself.
scurrrry shit.
in all honesty, messing with that stuff got me in trouble, all i can say, that's no joke if u really do it right. not sure though about the Ouija, i used to have ORIGINAL witchcraft books dated back to the 7th century worth crap load of money, but destroyd them after few HORRIFYING experiences.
Wow bro, the things you could convince this girl to do......I'm thinking butt sex is in the future.
I still can't believe that they sell those things in toy stores of all places. It is not a toy. I'ts real and it works, however they don't work for everybody
My brother and I worked in a funeral home right out of high school for a month while waiting to go to boot camp, and I saw some crazy shizt. I can't explain any of it, but to this day that freaky stuff freaks me out...real or not I stay the hell away.
^^I can attest to that.
I useto play this with my sisters friends when she had teenage sleepovers. It was really fun when we were like 13. It lead to me getting kissed a few times, that was like sex at that age.

Here is a link to Jame's Randi page. It's a great page about the paranormal, etc. Mr. Randi will pay one million dollars to anyone that can prove they have a 6th sense or an ability beyond that of a normal person.
No one has ever used a Ouija Board and won the million dollars. Hell, no one period has ever won the money. There is a reason for this. It's all crap. A ouija board is nothing more that a child's board game meant to invoke a sense of supernatural feeling for fun. It doesn't do anything.
Hey, maybe you can get a paranormal pyschic (which if they're real should try out for the million dollar challenge) to rid the spirit from your girl's house!
http://www.randi.org/joom/challenge-info-2.html
Concerning that in bold. This is because those that have those abilities are kept from those that don't. There is a separation, kinda like a gate of sorts.
Ppl into that sort of thing couldn't reveal it to others even if they wanted to. There is no way to prove it, and it cannot be revealed.
But those that know, know that they know. And others like them know. But to everybody else they're just playing.

Where in God's name did you read all of this? Sounds very cryptic to me. I'd love the name of the book or article as it sounds like an interesting read.
Edit: Do you mean anything about the government snatching up truly pyschic people and experimenting on them, etc.? I read a really interesting story about that years ago. It was fun, be it fiction or non-fiction, to think that the government abducted people and was able to further enhance their pyschic abilities or replicate those powers on an ordinary person. Heck, I'll go google some of that stuff now as I'm quite bored ;(

Tell her you've got a better toy to play with. When she tugs on it, the spirit will rise and leave ectoplasmic residue after a while. Then she can tell everyone she was slimed by a 3 inch white ghost.
j/k - Don't kick my ass, ok?

anyone who calls it hogwash....I challenge you to play with it
QUOTE=IronReload04;3932363]anyone who calls it hogwash....I challenge you to play with it[/QUOTE]
Please don't make me laugh. I played with one over twenty years ago, when I was a young, naive teen, and it did nothing then.
Are you seriously trying to tell me that Milton Bradley, yeah, the manufacturer of tremendously famous board games like Chutes and Ladders would really sell a ouija board that would allow you to talk to spirits, and even let demons in to your home! If ouija boards were REAL don't you think many religious sects would have jumped in years ago and gotten them banned from production completely? Why are they still being made-- because they're a novelty item and that's it.
The fact that you "challenge" me to play with one is hilarious! Many recreational drugs have been outlawed because they're dangerous, along with carrying handguns without a permit in most parts of the U.S., hell even bungy jumping off of bridges is illegal. Why I ask you? Because THOSE are threats to people's lives! I ask you again, if ouija boards are so real, why are they still being produced?!
So in the end, you challenged me to a play a board game, the ouija board. I in turn challenge YOU to a game of...CHECKERS!![]()

Why is anything evil allowed in the world then?

Milton Bradley is just milton bradley. Get a real one.

a couple things here.
1. Whether or not you believe in religion. IN catholisism, it is very very hard to get the church to sanction an execism.....very hard. Their was one about 60 years ago.....cause of possession, oujji bord.
2. I went to a catholic school in elementary....I have been on the fense recently because I am a skeptical person. HOwever, I had a priest who had some experiences with a ouijji bord......He is not allowed to talk about it.
3. I worked with a women who uses the bord. Ya, she claimed that the thing is for real.
So having said that. Whether or not you believe, i dont care. But it cannot be denied that the bord has some credibility.

Topic #1 presents no facts saying that a ouija board is real. It simply says that an exorcism is hard to get in the Catholic church and a "supposed" ouija board possession took place. I hear their was a Bigfoot sighting recently, but does that make it real?
Topic #2 I went to Catholic school too, and guess what? Priests there also said ouija boards are bad. Why I wonder? Priests are obviously devoted to their faith and will naturally believe these boards are evil. Their opinions are biased from the get go.
Topic #3 You worked for a woman that used one, and she claimed it's real. Neato! What credibility does this woman have to present a valid case? Is she an expert in the field of the supernatural, paranormal, etc., or is she just some lady that says they're real? Heck, I've already found several people on this post that say they're real, but it doesn't mean that ouija boards ARE real!
Please don't take this argument personal. I enjoy a good debate and this is an issue I love to engross myself in. I used to study all types of paranormal phenomenon, as well as illusions, and even owned a magic shop franchise.
Take a moment to think about this. You can eat the wafer that is said to be the "Body of Christ" before it's blessed, and in the Catholic faith it is nothing more than eating a wafer. However, during mass, when the bread is blessed it is then that the wafer is actually consider to be the body of Christ.
Going by the faith that you mentioned, Catholicism, why would you believe an ordinary piece of wood with letters on it would ever allow you communicate with spirits? There isn't a priest at the end of the production line blessing each ouija board that is printed. The logic that a Catholic believes ouija boards are evil is completely flawed.
Ouija boards entered mainstream U.S in around 1880, and were patented in 1891 by Kennard Novelty Company in Baltimore, MD. Note the name. Kennard Novelty Company. These boards were made for nothing more than fun!
It wasn't until years later when fake pyschics brought these boards in to the medium of divination that the boards got a bad rap. These are the people we have to thank for the myth that ouija boards really let you talk to spirits.
The boards were simply used by charlatans to help swindle people out of money.
I await a retort, as I said I really enjoy a good debate. Remember, keep it friendly though and don't take anything personal!![]()

milton bradley doesnt count dude
Wait why not? As I stated before, there is no one blessing or cursing ouija boards when they're produced at Milton Bradley, or any other type of production center. They're all simply pieces of wood or cardboard with letters, so why again shouldn't Milton Bradley count?
I just read that other post to get a REAL ouija board...so what is so different about THOSE boards!? LOL

LOL!!! So now engineers are evil too! This is getting better and better! You already said you were sceptical, just take a step back and truly think about all of this

You quote Randi as if he is an authoritive point of reference when in actual fact his million dollar bait has no credibility in psi community. He wont get anyone that knows their stuff to enter his challenge even if he offered $100mill.
Do some proper research on Randi and you will see what a joke he is.
Oh yes, lastly, before I'm off to work, I just skimmed a quick study that people that are blindfolded are unable to accurately make a ouija board work. I wonder why that is? Do you still believe that spirits are making it work, or simply that person subconciously moving it.
I can't wait to hear the argument on this one :
"The spirits needs to look through your eyes so they can see the pointer," or something classic like that will really make me laugh. Give me a break![]()
I have a feeling you're just arguing to argue at this point. You obviously believe in one, so try the experiment yourself. Blindfold yourself, and make one work. I'm betting it won't.
Answer this honestly: Do you believe that rabbit's feet are lucky too? (I actually am just curious).
Btw, love the avatar. I just looked at a picture of me when I was 16 and strutting a "cool" pair of Zubaz!

1. all true. however, only difference between church and bigfoot. The bigfoot sighter went to tell it on the mountain.....The church attempted to keep it quiet, and doesnt talk aobut it.
2. in my case, 2 has nothing to do with opinions. MY priest, actually experienced things first hand that he is not permitted to talk about
3. all true and valid points. from your perspective, it would be kind of hard to believe. and its good to be skeptical
