I usually spend anywhere from 45 minutes (strictly lifting weights) - 1 1/2 hours in the gym (lifting + abs and maybe 10-15 mins cardio)
is 45 minutes long enough to get a good solid lifting in?

I run first thing in the morning. And strictly lift weights in the gym. I spend around 45 minutes to an hour in the gym depending on what day it is. I lift each body part twice a week. Im not sure wether your doing one work out per body part a week or not?
I should also add im training sports specific and perhaps dont have as much rest in between sets as most people.
I have always been taught 45min to an hour of lifting. Anything after that you don't get much gains. I lift each body part once a week, I do a split and do my cardio, abs and calfs on my off days
I rest a minute or a minute and a half between sets. I switch between dumbells and bar on chest every two weeks. Also I do heavy for eight weeks and light for two, then start back over.
1hr for legs. 45min for everything else.
45min-1hr should be plenty. The intensity is more important than the amount of time.
45min-1hour is enough time. That's about how long i spend.
I usually spend around 1 hr 30 min
and thats warm up, lifting, stretch after
sometimes I spend an extra 30 doing ab/cardio work.
8 minutes warm up on elliptical, about 45 min -1 hour max weights,5 minutes or so giant setting some abs, then cardio if i am cutting
Whats an average amount of time spent on daily cardio?
45 mins average for me, weights. Much more than that and i'm prob just talking too much..
Now if there were more girls in my gym i might be inclined to stay longer and faff about on the stepper lol
