    Smile Pictures of my wife..

My wife was unable to register on our upstairs computer so I started this thread for her. She will be the one corresponding from here on out:

My name is Kathy Rowland and I have been happily married to Ronnie Rowland for 14 years. As most of you already know, my husband is the one who invented the Slingshot Training Method that has taken so many to the next level of muscular development.

We have one 12 year old son named Austin and a Bull-Headed-English-Bulldog. I usually train only 3 days a week because I have a lot going on in my life. I recently upgraded to the 4-day a week slingshot cutting routine to increase muscle definition, especially around my waist...lol.. I just started 15-20 minutes of HIIT cardio 3 times a week. Ronnie says my body is mostly ****morph but at age 45, my body stores fat more readily than it used to back in my 20's and 30's. I'll post more pictures as progress is being made. Wish me luck in getting back my six-pack! I feel very lucky to have Ronnie by my side. Both of us are personal trainers.

    My current stats:
    Height: 5'2
    Weight: 154lbs
Bench Press: 145lbs for 10 reps
Seated Dumbbell Shoulder press: 50lbs for 8 reps (a very strong point)
Lying tricep extensions on mat in floor: 80 lbs for 12 reps (a very strong point)
Seated Hammer curls: 30lb dumbbells for 8 reps (a strong point)
Squats: 315lbs for 10 reps-(yes my legs are my strongest body part)
Lunges: 205 lbs for 15 reps
Deadlifts: 205 for 12 reps (Only done them twice in my life) Kinda afraid my traps will get over-sized..

Here is the 4-day program Ronnie and I are currently using. It changes when we get bored. We train and work together at Golds Gym. Both Ronnie and I thrive on once a week muscle training so we use it more often than twice a week muscle training.

Sunday- Shoulders/Arms (15-20 minutes of HIIT cardio)
Tuesday-Back/Rear Shoulders (15-20 minutes of HIIT cardio)
Thursday-Chest/Foreams (15-20 minutes of HIIT cardio)
    Friday- Legs/Abs

Of all the different training methods I have tried, Slingshot Training- http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=348723 has been the most effective for me and my clients. We see the results, we feel the results.

Below are some pictures taken over the past 8 weeks.

Good routine you got there, I'm sure you will see great results. How long have you been working out? Isnt 45 great? LOL I'm 45 for another 22 days. Got to love those morning, afternoon and evening aches and pains due to playing hard as kids.

Thanks for posting the pictures, looks like you have been hitting the gym pretty good. Keep up the good work.

Gotta love the Slingshot workout. Aahh...the aches....the pains. About 7 years back, I broke my ankle falling off a table. The doc told me I was in the wrong proffesion. So, everyone assumes I was hurt from table dancing..lol....The pain gets much worse after a heavy leg day but I will not give up my heavy squats and lunges. I guess Ronnie's stubborness has rubbed off on me..Haa Haa

    p.s. Enjoy 45, I'll be 46 in Feb.

Thank you Paul. I've been hearing that alot lately. A guy walked up to me at the grocery store today and said with a big smile "I believe I can take you"! I was thinking to myself, "I don't think so!!!"

I'm male, 173.5cm and currently weigh 90kg. I got 8 reps today on 308 lbs, and 6 reps on 330 lbs, both of those were PB's. Your stronger than me

According to her website (http://www.sharonwaters.com.au/) Australia's strongest women Sharon Waters (who I know btw ) can get 1 rep on 275 lbs. Here titles and official power lifting records are all on her site. You are considerably stronger than her, and she impressed the hell out of me.

Your strength is off the charts....!!!!

WOW! Seeing this makes me feel good mick..Ronnie and many others keep telling me just how strong my legs really are and that I should compete in a local bodybuilding show. The diet would be the hardest part for me. I would like to get my abs like Sharon's.

Thank you for sharing the link.

No worries, thought you may find that interesting.

Yeah now that she also competes in bodybuilding, not surprisingly shes pretty lean for parts of the year.

Most all of the bodybuilder's at Golds Gym are using Slingshot. I'm sure you are going to love it. We believe you will reach your true potential and become totally happy only if you do what you love!

That's a very nice thing to say about my husband PT. He tries very hard to help everyone. I've never met anyone with as much knowledge about weight lifting and diet. Several have told him he should have gone to med school. I think he would have made a terrific doctor!

Looking very good! The only thing I would say has to come up just a smidge is the calf area. Legs are bangin' but need a little seperation. It looks like you have calves that sit right behind your knee. I have the same thing, it is tough to get them, but once you bring them up I would say you are perfect!
