just curious, i know you gain muscles after workout during the healing process, but my question is when do you start burning fat, during workout (lifting, cardio, etc…) or after workout?

BTW, I’ve been struggling with my weight for a long time, i am 49 years old, 5,9 and weigh about 225, and finally in the last week or so I am noticing results, just a week ago I started eating healthy, 5-6 times a day and lost five pounds.

1. tuna
2. chicken breast (white meat)
3. raw cashews (as small snacks between meals)
4. raw almonds (as small snacks between meals)
5. one tablespoon raw flax seeds with cereal (ground)
6. lots of water
7. small portions of red meat, once a day (mainly lamb), I buy lamb from Sam’s Club, they have the New Zealand lamb which is pure from any chemicals.
8. finally I do 15 minutes cardio, and one hour heavy lifting.

so far so good
