Alright boys and girls! My Diet is good to go! I have perfect technique on my lifts and always try to go as heavy as I can. Just think my routine is stale Seems like it should be ood but...Well, you guys tell me
LEGS: Please remember I have 1 bad knee (left) and a severely bad back Herniated discs @( L5, L1, S1)
Here is my routine top to bottom on leg day, Please let me know if you would change anything...
1)Stretch Quads, Hams, and Calves out for about 10-15 minutes before I start!
QUADS:
2) Squats 135# for 18 (warm up) 225# 12 / 225# 12 / 275# 12 / 315# 8-10 / 315# 6-8 / 365# 6
3)Leg Presses (Start Heavy) 7plates ea. side for 15 8 plates 12-15 9 plates 10-12 9 plates to failure
4)Hack Squats (Start Heavy) 4 plates Each Side for 12 Reps 5 Plates for 6-10reps
5) Leg Extensions 135 X 15 150 X 12-15 165 X 8-12
HAMSTRINGS:
6)Seated Leg Curls 115 X 15 130 X 15 145 X 10
7)Laying Leg Curls 125 X 10 140 X 9-10 155X 7-10
8) Stiff legged Deads with Dumbells 80's X 10 90's X 10 90's X10
CALVES:
9) Standing Calf Raises 4 Sets increasing weight to failure each set
10 Seated Calve Raises 90# X 25 90 X 25 135 X 12-15 135 X 12-15 135 X 10-12 135 2 Failure 135 2 Failure
As I said I can not go Super Heavy with my Squats but by the time I am through with those and leg presses my legs are on fire! I have really stepped up the intensity of my leg workouts but wondering what I could maybe change / Do differently do hit them even harder! s I said It seems and feels like a very good workout but just have a hard time to get m wheels to grow!
