New Guy Re-post in correct area

Sorry if a repost bothers anyone. I dont mean to waste space on the forum.. But i put all of this on my intro page before I realized questions were not to be asked on the intro. So here it goes in the correct area.

    Hello,
Im not too sure where to start here. I guess I will start with the usual. I am 24 years old, I have been lifting religiously for about 6 months now. When I was 21 I weighed about 165 lbs, and was "pudgy". I started running and would fluctuate from 150-160 lbs over the next few years. Finally when I turned 23 I decided I was tired of the body fat and ran for months and got down to 138-140lb range. Here is where I have stayed for the most part every since. I always enjoyed lifting, its almost a calming experience for me. Here are some stats of where I am at now:
    I am -24 years old
    weight - 140 lbs
    height - 5'10.5
    BF% - 6-8% (skin-fold test not too accurate)

    Diet (Now)- Not the best
About 2300 Cals a day..havent been watching my macro nutrients like i should...

    Diet (2 months ago)
2500-2700 Calories a day - 60% carbs, 25% protein, 15% fats. I put on about 6 lbs in two months...(could have been some water from creatine). So i got up to 146lb, and then started to slack on my eating and over the course of 3 weeks I went back down to 140...This was a lesson the hard way about how important nutrition is.

Anywho I am not ready to begin a cycle, I am more or less wanting to get a feel from people who have done them before on some pros- and cons-. I have read A LOT. but it goes in circles because you never know who is typing what and if what you read is accurate. It seems like for everything I find that people say is bad, i find another article proving it wrong.

I want to give myself at the minimum 1 more year of natural growth. Maybe a year and a half, and if I'm not happy with that then I will make the move toward the use of some gym gear.

As far as my goals go, I am not a bodybuilder, I am just a guy who enjoys working out and looking good. 90% of my life has been spent over-weight, and embarrassed of how I felt and looked. I owe all of that to LAZYNESS and COMPUTERS! I would like to sit comfortably around the 165lb mark of all lean muscle. I would like to retain my BF%.

Now for some medical history of my family...that may sway the issue of me using gear. I need some input from the professional on this.
1st - I am scared to death of going bald - no offense to those who look good bald...I just cannot pull it off. The men on my moms side of the family have hair, and my dad does, but all of his brothers do not. I dont know where that puts me at the risk factor.
2nd - My dad and 2 of his brothers have had prostate cancer. 1 brother however has not (yet). I will be getting PSA levels checked before and after if i do decide to use anything.
3rd- When i hit puberty I got gyno...Not too much of the "boobs" but definitely the "puffy nips" - its very embarrassing, its not bad now at my weight but i DO NOT want to make it worse.

Besides that I do not drink, I dont smoke cigs (I did from age 16-22). I am just trying to get a feel for whether it would be worth someone with those 3 things to worry about to use.

If I did get into anything it would probably just be one cycle of test. Im not sure which, I am just clueless about PCT. I have read a vast amount of information concerning PCT, but everyone has something different to say, and I cant decipher what is accurate and what is not. Any comments and help will be appreciated.

My friend with stats like that you really should not even begin to CONSIDER juice at anytime at all......not now not ever! In order to reap the full benefits of gear you gotta not only work out hard...but eat like a mofo!!..It seems that diet is your downfall....then consider your other worries..like gyno etc....I'm sorry to be blunt but just forget the juice and pick up the fork...

As I mentioned my diet as of now is poor. I know I can increase the food intake, which I plan to do. I mentioned previously that I wanted to take 1 to 1.5 more years of natural growth before I consider anything else. Would you mind elaborating and helping me out on maybe the proper amounts of food to intake as far as carbs, and protein are considered. It only took me about 2500-2700 cals a day to put on weight if im below 2500 it falls right off. So i do understand that food has been my downfall, but it wont be a year from now. I am working on it. I just want to have an arsenal of information for if/when I were to take that step..

I'm glad you're getting educated before you jump in......for me...3500-4000 cals of good clean food puts on muscle mass....a safe ratio of protein to body weight would be minimum 2g's of protein to 1 lb of weight. In your case it would be more...as well as carbs and also fat intake will be needed...if you can consistantly keep up a good eating habit..I don't see how you can't add weight to your frame...thers a saying that goes..."you don't get BIG ibn the gym.....you get BIG in the kitchen!!!"...I can also relate to the weight com ing off if you're not on top of your game as far as cal intake...happens to me too.
