    I know how you guys like a good gf problem

    Left my phone at gf's house 2 days ago.

    All the missed calls were cleared so I asked if she went through it.

    She said she just looked at the missed calls to see if I was calling looking for it.

    Then we banged that night and life went on.

    Last night I called her a pet name I usually call her and she gave me a funny look.

    As soon as that happend I knew she went through all my txt messages...because 3 days previous to me leaving my phone at her house an ex gf out of the blue sent me a txt message saying...."remember when you use-to call me (same nickname)"

    So I stared laughing and then rolled over to my side of the bed...and she kept saying "what" I just said "nothing...you just gave me a funny look" So as not to overplay my hand if I were wrong.

    So I'm laying there in bed and the next thing she says to me is..."were you thinking of breaking up with me about a month ago." So now I'm all kinds of confused and instead of answering just keep asking her what she's talking about.

    well...about 50 messages back in my phone there is a txt from one of my friends asking if I broke up with my gf yet.

    So...basically she read every txt message in my phone.

    He was only asking if I broke up with my gf because he wants me to move to DC and knows I won't as long as I'm with her. So it had nothing to do with her...but anyway

    I refused to answer her question and told her I didn't want to talk to her anymore that night.

    She said..."you can leave then."
    so I did

    I told her she wasn't entitled to an explaination of the txt messages

    and she said "well, it's about me and it's kinda important"

    and I said "well, how did you come across it??? and that's why I don't owe you an explaination."

    she was crying when I left

    no you didnt. its a touchy subject. id flip if my girl went through mine. im not hiding anything. but the lack of trust is what the issue is

    she dont trust ya. no trust... no love... no love. no reason to be with her.

    but id talk to her. explain that you felt it was disrepectful to go through your shit. especially when shes takin texts the wrong way. tell her bout the texts. put her mind at ease.

    but if something along these lines happens again... id split

    she also lied to me about going through my phone

    we were talking about moving in together next year...I don't want her in my stuff every time I leave the house.

    The reason all this came out was she was talking about it with people at work about the txts and they all love to gossip...I guess the wound her up really good and made her feel really insecure. All the little signs I was on verge of breaking up with her and trying to get her to break up with me...and It's all bullshit. I'm sure they're having a field day today.

    I want to teach her a lesson without giving her the boot...how would you play it from here?

    Kratos, I would basically say to her what you aid in your first few posts. It seems you are a level headed guy. Take teh high road, the mature road, and tell her you know and that (if she does mean a lot to you) that you want to know why she doesnt trust you. Explain the truth to her, and tell her how you feel. If she isn't mature enough to handle it, or the way you handle it, then you have problems.

    No one around here likes to give people a chance, because they have done wrong themselves. We have all made mistakes, so give her her second chance and see if she accepts it or spites it. Either way, you come out knowing what kind of woman you're into.

    I think all this going through phones, emails and facebook PM's is childish. I had it with my gf recently. She went through my PM inbox because she didnt believe me when I told her about a conversation with my ex. I even gave her the chance to log into my facebook, but she took it apon herself to do it anyway. She knew my password. I have nothing to hide and she saw that.

    My wife goes through my phone every damn chance she gets...... She thinks I don't know but she makes references to shit thats only on my phone. One day I decided that I was going to go through hers - I knew something wasn't right for her to be going through mine..... thats when I found out she had an addiction problem.....

    i dont have or got anything on my phone that wont want her to see...she can see my phone anytime and as far as underwear draw goes she puts in all the underwears after washing them to I cant hide anything in there anyway...my point is if u have something to hide on the phone dont leave it to ur gf.....thats all not being honest here but its just me.....
