Hey guys i was told that doing twenty minutes of hiit after a workout wouldn't hinder gains.
Here are my questions that are more for advice or personal routines.
I am doing a 14 week 750wk test cyp cycle. Var at the end. I obviously want a calorie and protein surplus so I can grow. However I'd like to continue to shed fat which so far 45mins on an inclined treadmill a few times a week along w good diet is helping me do nicely.
Since I am ten weeks into my cycle I decided I like hiit and would like to incorporate itmore into my regiment. I can only make it to the gym one time a day. I was thinking to simply do the hiit after my daily workout. However I drink a protein shake directly after working out. I'm assuming that's not a good idea to do right before hiit.
So do I simply do the hiit right away after my workout which would take about thirty minutes and then drink the shake? I know I'm nitpicking because they say to get protein within 20mins or working out.
I guess what really has me confused is I'm trying to mix workingout and cardio at the same time on the same day. Usually I have a core cardio day seperate from my workouts so my eating habits and what I eat when are easy to dictate.
