does supraphysiological doses of testosterone raise OR lower C reactive protein, keep in mind that i am asking about TEST not all AAS. I know that there are studies that show high c reactive protein in anabolic steroid users, but they did not specify what are the steroids being used etc... i have seen only one study about it.
I am asking this because it has serious implications in heart attacks, keep in mind that new studies conclude that high inflammation is what makes those plaques rupture, and some of the fatal heart attacks happen in people who dont have a lot of closing in their arteries, and almost half of them dont have high cholesterol or LDL etc.....
C reactive protein is the primary marker of arterial inflammation. What is confusing me is that testosterone is actually shown in studies to LOWER inflammation markers. Then, you have studies showing that anabolic steroid users have more C reactive protein, how is that ?? can someone clarify on this subject.
I need you guys especially the vets to shed some light on the subject, to my surprise i did not find a significant amount of threads about this problem of heart disease related to steroid use.
