after all these years, I doubt it even matters that much anymore. But we say soccer instead of football so thats no biggie.

I agree that they shouldn´t change it now and call it something else I was just curious why they call it football.When they touch the balls more with the hands. I guess that it sounds better or something to call it football than handball.

yeh, i know bro....that's always been a topic about how they call soccer football overseas, etc....but boy we're born into football here in the U.S.
Boy, when i started watching football years ago, it was Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw, Stabler, Dorsett, then Danny White, Fouts, Bartkowski, Ferragamo, Payton (Walter), the list goes on and on....the good ole days

Yeh, man...the most recent that stands out is the Buccanneer dude that whacked the 62 yarder....i was freeked...sent chicago packin that day....that kicker was like a pawn broker just a month or 2 ago before that game or something
