Yo ghettoboy... I would feel pretty good with the series at 1-1, going home, and Lester pitching if I were you. I think its a 'must win' for the SOX tonight but many people think its must win for the Rays. If the Rays beat Lester and have Wakefield the next game...LOOK OUT! Its a big if but I really think the pressure is on the Sox. According to the sports world (ESPN) the Rays have no chance. What a great series.

Next up...WAKEFIELD...NICE FOR THE RAYS. Not one to get crazy over one win but they did just smack Beckett and Lester. Now they play home run derby with Wakefield. So much for not being able to handle the moment. RAYS. Still a series when playing Boston.

This is what i'm talking about.
"According to the sports world(ESPN) the Rays have no chance."
Fvck ESPN. Who are the AL East Champs? Who beat Boston 10-8 this year?
They're a bunch of pricks trying to sell the red sox as best they can. THIS IS NOT A SURPRISE PEOPLE. THE RAYS HAVE BEAT THE SOX AND THE YANKMEES ALL YEAR LONG. THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO WIN. THEY'RE THE CHAMPS, NOT BOSTON. THAT WAS LAST YEAR FVCKHEADS.
Anyone that knows baseball knows i'm right. Hell, look at us now....In your ballpark!!!!!

I'm here dude. I called homerun derby after the win in game 3 and it happened...NICE. Could you believe the announcers last night...it was all about the Sox and what was wrong with them...WHAT WAS WRONG? THEY ARE PLAYING A MUCH BETTER TEAM...THATS WHATS WRONG. Glad the rest of the world is getting to see the real RAYS. ESPN, TBS and FOX can be Redsox hommers all they want but the scores don't lie. Its a blowout. TOTAL DOMINATION.

God bless the Rays. Watching the Red Sox and their idiotic obnoxious fans getting embarassed in October in their own stadium is better than sex. I hope they beat them by 20 on Thursday night. They are the better team, like you said, there isnt anything WRONG with Boston, they just arent as good as Tampa Bay. God I love it......Where ya at Red Sox nation, what a joke...... Prediction, you will notice a sharp decline in the number of "front-running, its trendy to cheer for the Red Sox" fans in the next couple weeks.

Right on Abbot. Redsox nation went from "oh, how are we going to lose this year" and "its the redsox of course we will find a way to lose," to the Sox can do no wrong in a couple years. They became the biggest crap talkers over night. Exception...ghettoboyd. Go RAYS.

Yeah Im sure their are some exceptions, true Red Sox fans who actually deserve the success they have had and are humble about it. But the obnoxious band wagon jumpers that just popped out of nowhere and dont live in Boston, and have never lived in Boston, and have the balls to not only cheer for the Red Sox in vistor stadiums, but to try and start "Lets go Red Sox" chants in visiting stadiums. Unacceptable. The worst are the female Red Sox fans, who just decided it was to cool to cheer for them. Grrrrr, sorry had to vent. Go Rays! Finish them.

can we have a moment of silence please................................i must concead this series to the RAYS.....the better team this year.i only wished my boys would have put up a fight like thay did in game 2.thay have had a good run and made the best of what thay had to get this far.i only wished there wernt so much hatred for the SOX and there FANS. unless u have been a part of it all these years before winning, than u cant really understand the passion BOSTON and it FANS have for this team. i realize that alot of peeps go "over the top" with there fanatitizm(if thats even a word)but its really just a true love for this team and what baseball in general is all about..........Bringing us all together(friends, family, randome peeps on the internet) good luck guys and stay humble...for the gods of karma love to bitchslap.

Come on bro!!!! After last year and especially after 2004 against the Yankees. Dont give up........And I do understand the pain and the passion (I'm from Cleveland, nuf said), I can tell you are a true fan and none of my coments were directed at you or anyone like yourself. Something that blew my mind last night, you guys are down 11-1 in the 7th, Papi hits that triple and the place goes nuts like its a one run game, says a lot.

im not giving up really.its just that im a realist and the probability of lightning striking 3 times is unfathomable.this is not the same team as even last year. thay realy had a good year considering all the injurys and ortiz having a poor season.nothing last forever and the sox need to shed some veteran weight and salarys and start rebuilding as far as im concerned.eather way good or bad i love the SOX and always will.

Yeah I agree, def not same team as last year. I remember last year being up 3-1 and feeling like we were down 3-1, lol. Last year you knew Beckett was a win, Schilling could go off at anytime and DiceK was the wild card....DiceK is not a true ace, which is the roll he's been forced into this post season. Plus, as good as Jason Bay has been, NO ONE is Manny Ramirez in the playoffs. I still think it will go 7 tho and I think you guys have a chance in 7.

I really don't see this series going 7 now. Sox look good for game 5 as they Rays did the smart thing and moved Kazmir to start game 5 today and have Shields and Garza at home for 6&7. I have to say that I keep hearing why the Sox aren't winning and what they need to do to win... but they aren't the better team. What do they need to do? They need to have better players than the other team. This Rays team isn't the Indians of last year. I don't need to go into tons of reasons why since I have done that many times. The Rays are winning because they are better. The Phillies won because they are better. That said... a game 7 wouldn't be fun for me as a Rays fan.

The Rays were the best team in the AL all year. The Angels won 3 more games but its widely known that the Angels played 57 games against the Rangers, Mariners and A's while the Rays played 57 against The Sox, Yanks and Jays. There is a little difference there. The Rays win the toughest division in baseball. Handle the first round White Sox with ease. The Rays are totally DOMINATING the Red Sox in a 7 game series. The Rays have better pitching all around. Better 5 starters. Much better bullpen in total. The Sox have the better closer but he doesn't get to pitch unless they are winning and that happened only once. The Rays are the best fielding team in all of baseball. The Rays are fast in the field and on the bases. The manager has made all the right moves. The Rays have the biggest home field advantage in all of baseball. Just incase anyone thinks this is all Rays hommer talk...read Peter Gammons on the Rays today. Gammons is a Boston lover. This is not smack talk. I think the Phillies are awesome and scary. I think the Sox are good. I am really not understanding why people think the Sox will come back...and the past doesn't fly here. They didn't beat the Rays when they came back and the Sox were better than the Indians last year. The Sox aren't better than the Rays anywhere.

I was thinking the same thing, hell this series isnt even over yet. I wont even call/text someone during a game if one of my teams is winning and if someone calls/texts me I tear them a new ass hole and let them know that they are responsible for the jinx that they just put on our team, and 9 out of 10 times Im right, lol......One thing at a time, the Rays have had a tremendous season, but unless they win 5 more games who cares.

Staying humble...slightly scared of the Phillies...really scared of the offense but not so worried about the pitching. Looks like a slug fest. PEACE AND GO RAYS.

As for the whocares if the Rays just make the series and don't win it...um, we aren't the Yankees or Redsox...I will care if the Rays make the series. Not just happy to be there but if you told me before the season the Rays would make the series...after telling you they are 2 years away...I would have paid to see it...now I don't have to.
RAYS
Not being humble would be something like this
R edsox
A nd
Y ankees
S uck
But that isn't my nature.

i dont know what to think.i know Becketts not quite right and its all on him tonight.Madden kind of opened the door friday by not pitching Sheilds and the RED SOX never quit till the last out.if the SOX could get out of the first few innings without letting it get out of hand then who knows. the RAY hitters are all tough outs and are getting key hits every chance thay get.if the SOX could somehow force a game 7 than i will like our chances. im shure the RAYS got other plans though...............

Either way, what was once thought of as a foregone conclusion has now turned into a very interesting series. Here's to baseball being interesting again! Go Rays!
