NFL, which 5 players would you pick?
Im talking about 1 reciver, 1QB, 1RB,1 Def Player and 1 kicker. Heres mine, throw in some detail why you pick that player. Im talking about present.
Present
QB-Rich Gannon, he's on fire right now and he's in the zone almost every game.
RB-Marshall Faulk,he has the talent to run it inside and outside and a great receiver too.
WR-Terrell Owens,he's unstoppable and my opinon is the best WR and there right now.
Defense-Brian Ulacher,he's fast as hell, Ive never seen a white boy run like that. He's still young and will probally go down as one of the great linebackers.
Kicker-All the Gramatica brothers!
TE-Shannon SharpeLast edited by tt333; 11-17-2002 at 10:18 PM.

QB-give me Michael Vick anyday. He will turn a mediocre team into a winner
RB-Priest Holmes---no one runs harder, catches better, or has the desire to carry the load except Marshall and he is nicked up
WR-Terrell Owens-------I agree here with you tt333--at the top of his game and will be around for years--cannot be covered for 60 minutes
D-Ray Lewis---very few can argue about his play on the field--can simply dominate and can turn a game with his presense (except today of course)
Kicker-Morton Anderson----"nobody does it better"
Why you would leave off a position like TE is beyond me so I must, out of respect for the offense, throw in my selection there
TE-Shannon Sharpe-best TE in history in terms of offense--also one of the best trash talkers in the league

This would have been easier if u just said "best offensive players", cuz now how can u compare running back and Line backer. oh well.
Here's my picks (if u're talking about only current players)
WR- so tough to call, there's randy moss, marvin harrison, TO, and Jimmy smith, not a big guy but over the last 5 years he is the best by stats. But i still can't argue with TO. He's good, cocky, but good.
RB- this is easy, marshall faulk
QB- no doubt michael vick, this kid is nuts
Defensive Line- Without a doubt Warren Sapp, strahan is good, but i still think sapp, i still don't understand how he can move so fast when he is so big, his stats are down, but thats cuz he's been dbl teamed for the last 2-3 years every game.
Linebacker- hard to pick, without good Def tackles, then that makes most good LB's only decent. Look at Urlacher wo Washington, or lewis after guys like siragusa left, lewis is still good but not as dominant. I still don't feel like there is a clear choice in LB, but i'll would Arrington. He has had some slips this year and is still good but he has the potential to be the best. But right as of now, its gotta be lewis. Offenses have to adjust to him, and besides nobody dances better them him.
QB- Vick
WR- Terrel Owens
RB- Marshall Faulk
D-Line- Warren Sapp
LB- Ray Lewis

QB- Farve has been the best for 10 years now- talk to me next year and
I will say Vick
RB- Ladanion Tomlinson- best pure back (the new E.Smith with speed)
WR-The greatest just ask him T.O
TE- No doubt T.Gonzales
DL- Sapp
LB- D.Brooks
Kicker- Vanderjagt

QB: #4 Brett Favre - and not just b/c I'm a Packers fan. He's clutch,
and that's what you need in a QB. Not to mention he's the
toughest QB in the league.
RB: Corey Dillon - his stats would be through the roof if he didn't play
for the 'Bangals'
WR: Marvin Harrison - the man is a receiving machine, oh and the
fastest to 600 recepts.
TE: Shannon Sharpe - Sterling taught him everything he knows
DEF: Julius Peppers - Watch out for this rookie .. he is one tough mofo
K: Morten Anderson - he's been in every kicking situation possible, and
at 102yrs old he's still leading the league.

if i had to pick a kicker, u gotta admit vinateri was pretty clutch last year, that was a long FG too. That proves how clutch he is which is exactly what u need in a kicker.
trim i can't beleive u picked peppers, especially over sapp and strahan.
Peppers is good, but so was kearse, now look what kearse is doing, not a whole lot since his rookie season. Way too early to tell if same thing will happen with peppers.
I still say Vick for QB, but i'll take Favre any day in lambeau in the winter. No one can argue with that.

I dont know about peppers, will see how good he is in a few years, another guy to look out for on the panthers is big John Henderson. Farve is still awsome. Vick is the Ideal QB, I have a feeling he will be the first QB to throw for 1,000 and rush for 1,000. Marrvin Harrison is also a great player but he does not get the respect he deserve because he doesnt act like a Jack Ass when he scores a TD. Ladanian will be the next great running back and Corey Dillion would be too if he would have a line to block for him. He would be just as good as Marshall. Ray Lewis is good too but I dont know if he's better then Ulacher.

Qb - Brett Favre - has too much heart and love for the game
Rb - Marshall Faulk - seen him single handely win a college game at Sand Diego St.
Wr - Jerry Rice - the man is the best
Te - Shocky - he is cocky but he will be a legend
LB - Ray Ray LEwis - he is a mad man, and is the strongest LB out there period
K - Adam V. he has proven you can fall back on a kicker to win

QB: Michael Vick/ Jeff Garcia (Vick getting off the team bus pretty much guarantees 21 points, I take Garcia because of his toughness and ability to make something out of nothing)
WR: Terrel Owens-One of, if the not the best in the game right now, he's got it all, Size, Speed, Strength. And flame me all you want, but just wait another year or two-Marc Boerigter (KC)
RB: Marshall Faulk, Ladanion Tomlinson, Eddie George
TE: Jeremy Shockey
LB: Ray Lewis, Derrick Brooks, Brian Urlacher
DL: Warren Sapp, Jevone Kurse,
DB: R.W. Mcquarters, Charles Woodsoon

rb-undecided id say emmitt but youd probably would say hes too old
wr- terrel owens enough reasons alredy
lb-urlacker... alltime LT baby LT was a (bad ass)squared
dl-michale strahan he can even contain mcnabb which is superb most athletic lineman in nfl should almost be a linbacker but he is a wall on which ever side he plays on i dare any team to run at him.
te- there shouldnt be one they get too much glory lately they should block more ahahah (insert evil laugh here)

LB-Ray Lewis, total domination
QB-Mike Vick, nuff said
RB-Corey Dillon, imagine if he played for a real team
WR-Plaxico Buress
TE-Shannon Sharpe, but watch out for Todd Heap this year
K-Matt Stover
Those who forgot about Ray lewis so fast because he was injured last year will be silenced again.

LB- URLACHER - There's nobody else I'd take!
QB - I have to say McNabb, sure he has some faults, but who else has as little talent around him as Dono and has been as good? Now WR's, don't tell me duce he's like 17'th RB in the league. Maybe the best QB with the least amount of talent, OHH!! and his coach is F*N moron! with no NADS!
WR - Split Harrison/T.O. -
TE - After watching Jeromey Shockey hunt defenders down so he could run them down and smack them! I'm sold, and I'm an Eagles fan who despises the Geants...
RB - LaDanian Tomlinson - this year, barring injury, will be the best in the league!
Kicker - David Ackers - strongest leg and most accurate in the league right now...
I have 6 that's because kickers aren't football players!

QB- Vick, now that he's got Peerless Price, he's got a real deep ball threat
RB- Ricky Williams, i pick him because i'm a dolphins fan
WR- Terrell Owens, as much as i hate him for his attitude and i hate the 49ers, i respect his talent.
TE- Jeremy Shockey, did pretty good last year and he was a rookie- he's only going to get better.
Defense- too general of a question, i'd have to break it down by position there's just too many good guys to pick just one.
