the university of texas have both of their big12 championships (1996 and 2005) displayed on a wall in the team meeting room. mack brown has made an addition to the list adding 2008 with an astrick. the 2008 big12 championship game was won by oklahoma who defeated mizzou handily but somehow the university of texas thinks they have won this championship without even having played the game. wow! if i was unfortunate enough to be a longhorn fan or player i would demand that this be taken down. mack brown, the players and fan base are the biggest crybabies and i would be very ashamed to be even associated with that university.

Yeah but unlike Oklahoma who hasnt won a bowl game in I dont know how long. Texas can at least beat people outside their conference.

yeah but texasses bowl record is 24-21-2 and the sooners are 24-17-1. oklahoma beat #5 oregon in the 2005 holiday bowl, i know that was like light years ago. i think notre dame just won their first bowl game since the early nineties. every program goes through bowl droughts, some don't even make them. i'm too lazy to see how their nonconference results are but i assure you oklahoma is on top in that catagory as well. how does this have anything to do with a coach and team trying to take credit for a championship they didn't even play in?
