Creatine Question
So I recently purchased optimum nutrition micronized creatine and I have started the loading phase 3 days ago doing 5g morning/pre/post/ before bed. I'm going to do that for 5 days then just do 5g pre and then another 5 post. To my main point though I think we can all agree mixing creatine mono can be a real bitch. I usually mix it with 3oz of water, give it a 5 second stir and down it before any powder settles back down at the bottom. Now is this ok to do or do you need to dissolve it first completely in water? And even though I didn't dissolve it in water at least I got it into my stomach and I down about 10oz after that too. Shouldn't it mix in my stomach or will fully dissolving it before help it reach all your muscles faster?

I think you are somehow overthinking this? I put 5 grams in my shaker cup, shake it for a few moments (remember to put the cap on the lid of the shaker cup!!), and I don't worry about it.

Perfecto gentleman. Thank you. Just one thing I stumbled on and couldn't get a answer to is dont take creatine with caffeine. Now I don't drink soda or coffee but I do take this pre workout called acid. Any interference?

You don't even have to mix creatine with anything. If you'd like, you can just take a scoop straight to your mouth and down it with some water. Also if you read the "Creatine FAQ" thread (http://forums.steroid.com/supplement...atine-faq.html), you will see that the loading phase is essentially pointless.

Hmm. I alwaYs put my creatine in my workout water. Like. One if my prep things like taking l.citrulline. i alsi have a coffee pre workout tho as i train so intensly i sweat like ive done a marathon. No exaggeration. Serious. Havent noticed any.hinderance with caffeine i believe i get a better workout combining those three elements. n i keep toppinf up my water at the gym. Shaking it.regularly. small.lumps dont bother me one bit tbh. Tasteless so... but i suppose looking on the research its a good way to do.it. i just figured id be replenishing as i use it. ;-)

Thanks for the input gentleman! I read up on it a lot and searched it up. I know they say loading is useless but whatever I was already on day 3 so why not just finish it up. I take it now pre then post workout 5g before and after and it really helps with that extra push in the gym and recovery.

I take creatine capsules now and have them with a mouthful of water but when I had the powdered stuff, I just put it in my pre and post workout shakes.
The whole "loading phase" that they put on the side of creatine containers I think is a crock to just make you get through your first batch quicker.
