It will do you good and is something you should do every 6 months anyway.

    Marcus (hopefully u see this)
What would u reccomend for a diet, during the 1 week off?

I know you know a lot about the whole prepping for a cycle diets and everything else..

I'm assuming the poster is in the middle of a cycle now.. taking a week off, which means lots of recovery time for the muscles..

keep the diet the same? Carb up? carb down? any thoughts...

I always design taking a week off during a intense training programme, example i can only stand doing around 8 weeks of heavy dropsets to failure, i usually go straight into another style while i recover myself but when i am ready for a week off i will design the heavy dropset phase just before the wk off, then i recover while during this week and i acturally gain size with all the recovery and full recovery of the CNS which is vital for muscle tissue building.

I would carb cycling during this phase and adjust daily to how i feel and need recovering, when i go back in the gym i am thick, veiny and bursting full of energy and full recovery of injuries have been completed

Mentally its good to take time off from the gym also. Nothing gets me more "in the mood" to work out and excited to get back at it than some time off. At least in my experience all it did was make working out less of a chore.

Take the time off, have some fun!
