Gaining a Larger Waist?
Long story short I hate my waist. It so thin for my height I just look lanky half the time, would like to change it where not restricted by my genetics!
As far as I know leg training, hip flexor training and ab training (especially obliques) are the focal points of gaining muscle mass around the midsection.
I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas for how I could go about this? I know a few exercises but I'm new to the idea of training hip flexors!
Cheers,
Dan

You don't want a larger waist. You want a bigger back and shoulders. Compound exersizes. Be happy you have a genetically tiny waist.

Buy a bigger belt. People, like myself would kill to have a 30", I diet my balls off and get a 31" and change at best.

I see your only 22 in your profile. Trust me at your age I thought exactly the same thing, as you get older and add more muscle that small waist will become an asset not a burden.

First time I heard someone complain about their waist being too small.

haha ok Latiss I think I get the idea :P
Still, a smaller waist only looks good when you have the bigger upper body. Suppose thats what I need to work on then, to take advantage of the waist but right now it is a detriment not an asset (appearance wise)

not really cause if your waist was larger, but your lacking-upper body the same then you would look even worse

I would have to agree with bronzer. You want a bigger upper body and rock an awesome V-taper. You will probably gain an extra inch on your waist by the time you 30 anyway. Do lots of pull ups, rows, deadlifts, bench press, military press, upright rows, side laterals. You will be good to go
