Would it be okay to substitue my flat bench press to incline bench?

My whole point of this, is because I wanted to get my incline bench a lot higher than it is now.
My 3 main lifts are okay I guess.

185lbs, 6'1, 3 years exp.
Lifts: 275 bench
365 squat
405 deadlift.

My incline bench max is only 205 and Im hoping if I get a stronger incline bench, I can rep higher weights when I start getting into bodybuilding.

Would it be fine to switch it? Or should I just make it apart of my assistance exercises and keep the flat bench.
