The official MINX Poem/Song Thread

Ok, in my spare time I do like to write songs and poems to express how I feel. This is one of them. Like most of my songs, they start life as a poem, then I add bits and turn them into song form. I hope you enjoy this one. Oh and don't forget to express yourself, and post me a poem or song by yourself.




Parents wanted me to expand my mind,
that was ok for me back then,
since, situations have changed,
my mind has taken on a different view,
For something new,

They must understand that now is the time,
to let me be free,
support me well, don't give me hell,
it's my decisions that count now.

The words you said, that hurt me in bed,
the night life fell apart.
I'm sorry, your hurt,
Time will heal the pain,
I'm sorry that I'm not what you hoped for.


I have done everything to be perfect
but now my choice in partner lets you down,
I see you frown.
I'm still the same person that I always was,
to me your just the same,
so why should we argue fight and cry,
over something that’s so perfect to me.

But remember this, things have to change,
for now is the time, I should love me, for me.

Daddy stop trying to mould me,
Everything you've said or done,
comes back to me, oh yeah

Well my postings have no reason at all, except for communicating with other people from different countries and having fun... however I do read the fitness posts and learn allot.
