Fight
So I was going to vent and rave about this crappy arse fight I got into tonight. Instead of being biased and stating my argument, I just want to express the feelings I had.
I will admit that he had the upper hand the entire time.
I am calmer now. I really would have never stopped, no matter how hurt, until I knew this kid couldn’t hurt me anymore. I would have gone until I breathed fire. Until I could not blink. Until I knew he couldn’t move. Until I knew he couldn’t hurt me.
I would have ripped down the walls he lived in and bled him from pride. Torn him away from his feeling of security from false friends.
I want to destroy him. Leave him left to understand that life is too short too dabble in minutia and discrepancies. I wanted to become irony. I wanted to show him the wrath that can come from dabbling in minutia discrepancies.
I wanted to become vengence. Against all of his security, break him down.
I wanted to bring us both to zero and show him his life with nothing.
I wanted to beat a man so badly I fear I would have enjoyed it.

How did you manage to write a story about a fight and make it sound like a trashy romance novel? Thats the question.

Yeah, ive never been in a fight where one person wasn't either unconcious or in handcuffs. How do you stop a fight without some blood?
-
01-11-2004, 03:52 AM #14
Cops.
Two shots to his face from me, a few blows to my head and then we hit the snow.
He was on top, would have ripped his adam’s apple out. We got separated by bouncers and I quickly cleared my head as I saw cop cars. I’ve been arrested a few times and I cannot afford to be kicked out of college. I walked home furious.

Either way, I feel like a chump.
I just want to bust his knee, jab his throat and go to town on his limp body.

If they persist, and don't laugh at this. See the doc, after an experience like that its natural to suffer some post traumatic stress and some people are better equipt to deal with this stuff than others.
Best of luck.

I knew you were going to say that bro!
There is a big difference in being in a fistfight and having bullets and grenades shoot at you im sure...

01-11-2004, 06:26 AM #27
Not really.... especially if you tend to fight people who shoot you.

I’m not a fighter so you’re right, I was flustered.
I wasn’t really that shaky after though how adrenaline can make you. I’ve slept it off.
Bouncer,
I didn’t like what you said, but thank you for clearing that up.
You can learn how and where to punch, how and where to kick, you can train and do what you want, but nothing can prepare you to fight then to actually fight. You have to be used to that environment to think straight. I wasn’t thinking straight.
I’m not bdtr (assuming you are a fighter) I’m not palme, I’m not a fighter.
I’m a corny ass kid who writes like I’m creating a trashy romance novel.

Well, I'll be the designated pacifist here. Maybe it's because I'm 47, and I'm afraid I'll break my hip every time I get out of the shower; I think it's OK to not like to fight. It follows that you're going to be messed up mentally afterwards. If you seriously hurt someone you may feel bad, if you get seriously hurt you will surely feel bad-and either has a good chance of happening.

Well Doc I'm not sure if you remember my old avatar. But I'm a kickboxer, and a competative one too. But like I said earlier, even that doesn't prepare you for the violence of a street fight. And there's nothing wrong in saying that your not a fighter, most people aren't and its nothing to be ashamed of either. In fact, if I'm asked whats the best form of self defence 99% of the time I'll say "RUN". Most people have one of two instincts when faced with danger 'fight or flight'. Again 99% of the time flight will take you away from the danger.
I'm glad to hear your feeling alittle better over the assault but don't be surprised if the same symptoms surface again over the next few days. In fact, my brother is like you. He's not a fighter and has been assaulted a few times and I've had to talk him through these feelings. My other brother is a bouncer like me and wouldn't think twice about ripping the heart out of someone.
You know, in fact this thread is a welcome change from the usual krap around when the kids start posting their b/s fighting stories when most couldn't kick sh*t off a rope.
Take care.
