    pilates

    i was wondering if you boys ever did pilates to cut up or ever tried it

    Yeah i did it as my cardio when my wife was doing it, when she stopped I just started the treadmill again.

    I am thinking of doing it to increase my flexibility

    Stretch and do Tai Chi for flexibility and suprisingly energy. Plus it's more masculine.

    pilates is cool but its not for all body types. You have to have a slender build to get the most out of it. It does strenghen your core. some of the postions are really tough. Although at my Y there are some rather large size people that are devoted to the class. Recently the rage has been it helps your golf swing, so now more men ( masculine) men are in it. Power yoga is a good way to increase flexibility. I have taken that with my wife a couple of times. Just don't work out your upper body hard, the poses will kill ya.
