Fina.. encountered a prob baking..
Sup guys... i was baking my fina earlier and after i took it outa the over and removed the needle and syringe.. i noticed the hold in the top didnt just close over like it normally does after u pull juice out of the vial for a shot. The hole is a lil larger and when i turn the bottle upside down it comes back outa teh hole slowly... i guess this is where the pressure from the syringe leaning while it was baking pulled the hole open a little. What do i do cuz i plan on starting this in abt a week and now i cant turn the bottle upside down to draw out liquid....?

To answer your NO-BRAINER question, why in the blue h*ll do you have to turn the entire bottle UPSIDE DOWN?????
YOU DON'T HAVE TO!!!!!! DUH!
Or simply put it in a DIFFERENT BOTTLE.
Wow, this rocket science stuff is REALLY HARD, I can barely keep up.
Seems to me that good ol' Rocky has been hit one too many times!

why don't you draw all of the solution out of that bottle and filter it into another sterile vial and bake again. this time don't put a needle through the top while baking. instead, before putting it in the oven, stick a syringe in the vial and draw all the air out of the vial. keep drawing until you can't get anymore air from the vial (i.e., the plunger springs back into the vial after you pull it back). once you've done that, then bake. taking the air out creates a kind of vacuum in the vial. if there's little or no air in the vial, you don't need a vent. i mean, you are not boiling the solution, so the only pressure would come from the expanding solution AND air as the temp rises. but if there's no air, well. . . then there's less to expand and less to vent. creating a vacuum will also cut down on the oxidation that comes from the heated air in the vial. good luck.
