Get****.com Investigation ?????
I just got 3 emails from [email protected] with three different subject lines(FDA has logged your ip and address, GET****.COM INVESTIGATION, GET****.COM UNDER INVESTIGATION). DEA.com is not a goverment address, but here is the email:
"The Fda has logged all use of this site (get****.com) Your ip address and all personal information is now on file with the fda and dea. Do not visit this site again for illegal purchases or you will be investigated. Jail time and or fine may be imposed. SRT. Ricky Gonalez."
Now I know it is not illegal to buy ****, but I wanted to send this around.

I wouldn't believe it yet........ Where else can we get some pins from?

From what I hear these emails are bullshit.
They are coming from the wrong domains.they would be dea.gov domains.
In the meantime you can use www.ar-r.com
They have great prices and fast service.

..Like I said in the other 2 threads, it's most likely a hack...Try replying to the e-mail you received and watch it bounce faster then a bad check......

[email protected]? someone's def pulling some bs
-
01-24-2006, 11:37 AM #13
Definately BS
1)DEA doesn't advertise their investigations
2)DEA wouldn't waste time tracking down people who buy pins (which is legal btw in many states)
3)Dea is not .com obviously .gov and like I said they never send e-mails to people they are going to bust. "Hey john doe, this is agent smith we are comming to arrest you for drug trafficking please make sure you are home so we don't waste gas"

Probably some one hacked their site and got the customers' emails and sent them emails from fake account using anonymous email service and that was why it bounced back when you emailed them. Also, what made me believe that the hacker used anonymous email account was that these accounts don't allow sending fake .gov emails so he sent them from fake .com account.
FEDs won't email you. They will send you official letter or just come and knock on your door.
Just get the IP address of the emails and check the place of these IPs and you can figure out who sent them.

The DEA doens't investigate people over the internet, they would simply knock on your door with a warrant. Also any government website uses .gov in the end. Put this idiot on a spam list and let him get slammed with unwanted email.
