when is weigh in the night before or the morning of. I know a few world class PLer's who dehydrate the day before, to get into a lighter weight class, lets say the 242's. the are able to weigh in the night before, during most events. The the next 24 hours they hydrate the hell out of themselves. The use Inervenious hydration therapy, its slightly extreme, but hey they end up lifting at a weight of 260+ and they've weighed in under 242. Just a thought, I would not say that a small amount of diuretics is going to hurt you if you have time to rehydrate. good luck
