Quick non-cooking meals i can eat throught the day??
Hey guys
I only get 1 half hour break during my work day to really eat a MEAL. I work from 8-5. I need something quick and easy that i can eat between breakfast and lunch. Im an auto-tech so im running around a shop all day and dont have time to cook stuff. I was thinking almonds and ricecakes would be a quick snack/meal. Any suggestions? For my 3-4:00 meal i drink a big pre-workout protien shake with about 100g's carbs and 60g's protien. then train after work.
thanks

Well, personally almond and ricecakes are just about as good as a double cheeseburger.
(high GI carb w/fats, and literally no protein) A cheeseburger has more protein though.
Depends on your dietary goals. I'd utilize shakes/almonds, tuna/mayo, beef already cooked and chopped up w/veggies, etc.

Do you have a fridge or microwave?
To add to what SC, you can also have beef jerky (make sure it's low on sugar) and lunch/deli meat...

Why no mayo?
What if he needed a fat/pro meal? Tuna/mayo is a staple utilized by many.
It would depend on what your dietary plan of attack calls for.

You get smoke breaks right? If people are getting smoke breaks, i would eat at that time. This is what i do here at work, i eat on my two 15 minute breaks (most people smoke) and on my lunch break.
tuna w/ mayo and an EFA (flax, almonds, olive oil)
as mentioned above, in a tight spot you can use jerky

the dietary plan of attack is: GAIN MASS...lol...im really not worried about putting on some body fat in the process.
I was eating the beef jerkey for a while but i wasnt sure really how great that was for me....im definily gonna start making some tuna/mayo to eat. I hate tuna but i gotta just man up and do it.
