Going on vacation for a week: Diet?
I am going away with the wife for a 1 week vacation and will be staying in a hotel. I am on my 13th week of cutting diet.
I want to take a week off from weights as I haven't done that in a long time. I want to perform some cardio as the hotel does have treadmills.
question is how do I go about planning a diet when the room I am in does not have a refrigerator, I can't cook meals while I am out.
I will bring some canned tuna, protein powder.
I don't need to necessarily keep the same diet going, I just want to avoid gaining the fat % I lost back in those 7 days.
I would figure we would be going out to eat at least once a day.
how do you stick to your diet (somewhat) while on vacation for a week?

IMO, it is nice to take a true vacation once in a while and not be such a nazi about diet. Dude, take the week and give yourself a break. You will be mentally and physically better because of it.

just eat wat ever in moderation and keep protein high you be fine.

i agree, eat whatever but in moderation,you can still eat fairly clean, don't lose your mind over it. I used to make myself cazy, but over time i have learned that one week will not break me. You'll feel great when u return and super motivated

Alternate what you eat, if you go to a restaurant, order a chicken salad or chicken breats w/ greens and then the next night have whatever you want.
This might help? Just a suggestion.

every vacation ive taken i ended up coming back weighing less.
i still stick to my diet when on vacation.
i think its from all the walkin that i do while im on vacation where the weight loss occurs.

when i go on vacation i usually eat clean during the day (order chicken salads and eat some protein bars) then at night i go out and enjoy...my feeling is that i dont wanna spend thousands of dollars to be anal retentive. I went to cancun last year and gained like 10lbs in a week....lost all but 3 in the first week of dieting (it was all water weight) and started dieting for contest. I say just go nutz have fun and enjoy yourself.

If you've really been dieting for 13 weeks (that is a long ass time) then you need a break!

Listen to he other bro's. Just enjoy your holiday and eat and drink what you like. Obviously your not gonna be stuffing kebabs down your throat 8 times a day or anything like that but just think of it as a cheat week.
