Everyone says cottage cheese is a good choice for your last meal but I just switched to from cottage cheese to a pro/fat shake about 2 weeks ago and I seem to be getting better results. I'll snack on some almonds from time to time in the evening to curb the appetite too.

Almonds and macadamias are pretty good. Peanuts are okay too, but the former have more fiber and less "net" carbs, which is why many see them as better.

    Here's what I do :

    1. boil cca. 5-10 eggs

    2. take the shell off, cut them so you get 2 halfes, take the yolk out, throw it away

    3. stupp the halves with cottage cheesse and put a slice of turkey breast on each one, so you have 10 of these little "sandwiches" if you boiled 5 eggs, you can also put a thin slice of raw tomato on them

    4. each time you pass the fridge and look inside (I do that often, just take a look, like a roasted turkey has magicaly appeared since the last time I checked which was 5 minutes ago ), you gulp down one or two, its tasty, convenient, and a mix of slow digesting protein which is great for night-time snacks

Walnuts are preferred because they are high protein, lower fat than other nuts, and have some really healthy fatty oils..

there was a study that they did .....apparently guys who ate 70 walnuts a day and didnt do anything else different, lost a substantial amount of weight...try it out
