Arrow how much is too much fat on a po/carb meal.

im just asking this because my first meal of the day is 8 egg whites..1.5 cupes of oatmeal and 2 cups of fat free milk.

comes up to be 9 grams of fat all coming form oatmeal.
should i replace some of thoes carbs with something less fatty??? or should a meal like that be fine???

Why the milk? That's my question.

I'd up the egg whites and drop 26 grams of sugar (lactose) coming from milk.

The fat in natural oats is the least of the worries in this meal.

Depends what your goal is. If I'm bulking I'll load up like that and not care. If I'm trying to lean down I'll make my oatmeal w/ water and drink water all day.

Right now I'm trying to bulk up so I make a 16oz. shake w/ milk plus the milk in my oatmeal.

Everything is revolved around that orientation of ones goal

True, but even when bulking I never use milk. I just can't see ingesting pure sugar when I can include better protein choices w/OUT sugar.

However, if milk floats your boat, enjoy!
