BCAAs: induce muscle gains even in absence of training...?
http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/inmag5.htm
just read this article, all 4 parts, this guy makes bcaas and glutamine sound like mild gear. claims that bcaa intake increases these hormones: test, gh, and insulin . i never really knew that much about bcaas. i dont expect effects to be drug-like but i think i will increase my intake. thought this was a good article

BCAA's are definately a good item to supplement with. Glutamine as well, especially when on a restrictive (cutting or competition) diet.

I look for the cheapest brand which has all 9 Essential Amino Acids:
Histidine
Isoleucine
Leucine
Lysine
Methionine
Phenyl al in ine (also leads to the synthesizing of the non-essential Amino Acid Tyrosine)
Threonine (also leads to the synthesizing of the non-essential Amino Acid Glycine when branched with Serine/glucose)
Tryptophan
Va li ne (I had to break this one up as it was being filtered with asterisks for some reason) (same with phenyl al in ine)Last edited by Austex; 12-09-2005 at 10:05 PM.

My favorite so far is Precision Engineered Liquid Aminos. You can find them only at Vitamin World.
