Oats for Cutting 24/7???
Really just an opinion from you guys. I am looking at using oats for my carb source all day(except for dex/malto PWO).
To me, it is not ideal because of more fat than other choices like yams/brwn rice.... but it is looking like it will be my main option.
Poor as hell right now and I have a ton of oats just sittin that I stocked up on before.
How far do you think it will set me back? Think I can still hit 6% BF from about 9%??

i dont see a problem bruh, i buddy of mine eats 5 cups of oats a day

also i use oats for in my breakfast and in my PWO only use brown rice in the eveinings

I'd try to get a little more variety other than just oats, but if thats what you have to do then so be it. Potato's and rice are cheap too. 4 or 5 bucks should get you both and last you all week.

I have started eating more sweet potatoes for PPWO on this cutting run, they taste so good i feel guilty eating one...i swear those things cant be good for you.. lol
I might try the Oats as they are easier to get the correct kCals figured than a sweet potatoe.
My calc for a large Sweet Potatoe is Cals 234 Fat 6 Carbs 43 Pro 3
At least thats how i have been calculating it through fitday.com

I dont see why not. I prefer oats in the morings and preworkout if i do it, as well as ppwo with 2 chicken breasts.

have you considered your micronutrient intake as a result of abstaining from fruit and veg for carb choices?

I dont know about you guys but I use oats in most of my shakes regardless of weather or not im cutting or bulking, although the quantitys will vary depending which kind of cycle iam on at he time.JMO

When Im cutting I only use oats and dex for my carb sources. So go for it!
