    digestion

Hey, common perception is to eat every 3 hours or so. Tell me this, if you burp and can still sense that you have some food in your stomach (tuna for example) should you eat anyway?

On cycle, I believe you should have a set number of meals and calories to eat everyday reguardless of appetite.

You need to stop eating upside down.

Do you aid your digestion with some supplemental metabolites and/or Fiber?

Digestive enzymes helps absorbtion greatly - these little buggers can be low if stomach PH levels rise.

If you are training a lot you may have accumulated acid in you stomach which raises PH levels - take some sodium bicarbonate. Since baking soda takes a long time to dissolve (do not drink undissolved) get some effervecent anti acids containg Sodium Bicarbonate - look at the ingredients on the side of the box. If you have a high caloric requirement your blood PH could deffinitly be elevated by the training and number of calories - which can complicate digestion.

I agree Pheedno, was just wondering if you could get ahead of your digestion.

Warrior, HAAAAHAA!! good one. I have done TONS with digestive wellness... probiotics, enzymes, ginger root, teas, dr. dedamo's book Eat right for your type, juicing, fasting, etc. Im not sure about metabolites but i dot lots with fiber, psyllum, squash, spinich, zuchinni, broccoli, etc. Interesting notes on stomach ph, if i can still taste lunch from 3 or 4 hrs ago wouldnt that mean that stomach ph was too low? Interesting observation, i had been on propecia (just came off 2 weeks ago) for about 3 years and the last year i have lived in digestion HELL...and since i have come off the propecia things appear to be returning to normal....ill keep you posted on that if you would like...fyi, propecia is a systematic type II dht inhibitor.

I do not think your PH levels would be low considering your lifestyle. Try some bicarbonate and yes, let me know if it helps or what you find to help with your digestion.

Some do a loading phase but I believe you can just do recommended dose for a few days. I can get the recommended dose for your body work later - off to work 4 now...

Personally, I always keep some Alka Seltzer on board since I eat and train a lot - bith can raise blood PH and complicate digestion.
