    Lightbulb Yeah... the paleodiet. Truly.

Yeah... the paleodiet. Truly. Don't take my word for it. Have her try it. She will drop the weight. It is impossible to be overweight, let alone obese on a paleodiet.

Well obviously, she should be doing what anyone does during cutting. Find their maintenance calorie level and cut it by 500 over a 2 week span. Drop 250 one week then 250 the next. Also slowly lower carbs and eat anywhere from 6-10 times a day. Being a woman, she probably doesn't care about muscle loss so she can add some cardio too in the early morning right when she wakes up.

I have a real problem with this diet... Has anyone read the book or are you speculating ?????

I would rather go back to the basics that has been proven over the last 20 years...

50/40/10 is a much healthier plan. Base this on her body weight and I would suggest about 1200 calories a day for 2 weeks and see whether or not to raise or lower calories a few. Of course her workout regimen will help dictate calorie base line.

Oh less not forget the intuitive eating ....
