Home made protien shake... darn good!
Well, ran out of protein powder this morning so I decided to improvise... and daaaam is was good!
In a blender throw:
- 100g firm low fat cottage cheese
- 100g "Simply Egg Whites" (homogenised so it's ok raw)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup of skim milk (depends how thick you like your drink)
- 1-2 teaspoons of ultra light strawberry jam
Give it a whirl
Here whats in it:
Cottage cheese: P-18.5g C-3.5g F-0.3g
Eggwhites: P-10.6g C-0.8g F-0g
Milk (2oz): P-2.08g C-2.98g F-0.1g
Jam: P-0g C-5.4g F-0g
For a total of:

Sounds good, nice and slow digesting protein too. Happy to see you using pasturized eggs, so as not to get sick.

Sounds good, I may buy those pastuerized eggs just for instantces like this.

Well, it's been my breakfast every morning now since I first tried it and I love the stuff! Actually has a nice taste.
