I m eating a very low calorie diet and high intenisty workout. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to get rid of the flat look on your muscles without using steriods etc...(illegal substance) I especially know this after my 1 hour run/fast walk. I still need to lose some fat so i want to keep deit in negtive( i know im losing muslce too) Just trying to minimize it. ALso i going to be trying out for school calander this spring so i would like help on developing a deit for that. I m possibling thinking about AS before it.

The simplest thing you can do is to just increase your protein intake. That will help a little.

I'm not sure, but isn't the flattened out look more to do with depletion of muscle glycogen, etc? I would think adding carbs, especially to your post-workout meal would help restore glycogen, and also pull some water into the muscle cell to make it appear fuller - if in fact this is the problem

Make sure you're eating enough protein and keep your metabolism up with frequent meals. If you are concerned about losing muscle in your quest to shed fat, try not to lose weight too quickly. A very quick drop in weight can result in a substantial reduction in muscle mass.

Lowering your calorie intake is not the answer to dropping weight... well not drastic drops anyways.. your weight? if you cant get something natural.. AS is not the way to go... work on your dieting knowledge before turning to AS.

Have a carb load day. One day of the wk eat double the amount of carbs you usually eat on training days. I like to carb up on wed (off-day) so I can hit legs hard on thurs. Start off at double the amount of carbs and increase if need be. Just be careful to avoid a spill-over cuz its very easy to get carried away.

ya i understand about the carbs. I mean i not losing wieght to fast if you want to see my diet look under my name. I think it is carbs issue i m probably around 60 carbs or so a day all in morning/noon. I never meant to hint as would solve the problem just thinking about starting my first cycle in next year.
I mean by low cal is that i output more then i input.
Ok if i got to eat more than 300 grams of protien then something is wrong so could that be a problem. i also workout for about 2 to 3 hours. I do cardio same time i do workout so 1 hour just for that.
