    Raw Oatmeal in Shakes..Any good?

Just read a few posts from a search i did and saw an interesting way to incorporate raw oatmeal into a shake. Just wondered if this was a good idea, what about digestion? would it work well as long as it was blended up? Just wondered what your thoughts were on this fellas.

why not. It gives you some good comp. carbs. don't see why you even need to blend it up if you don't want.

    Whatcha gonna do....

I drink these all the time and theyre good, the only problem is, is that the oats tend to sink to the bottom of the shake so you gotta keep shaking evrytime you want a sip. Theyre a good way of getting some carbs.

Great way to add some carbs...I just toss them in with my protein shake - but like testsubject said, you have to keep shaking as the oats tend to sink to the bottom.

DELICIOUS!, but I would prefer to eat the oats separate cause i love oatmeal! so cooking them separate makes it seem as if I'm eating more when I'm not.

i agree fritz...when cooking oats with water you double their volume, which makes it seem like you're eating more..that's my main reason to eat em separate.
