What do you know about bars?
Okay due to unforseen circumstances at work i have a 8 hour shift where i can no eat anything till it finishes. So this brings me to my question what is a decent costing protein bar with 0 or at lease less then 5g of carbs that i can eat at work? I was thinking of getting the atkins bars but i cant afford to pay 25$ for 15 bars.. anyone got anyideas?

I like pro-complex bars from optimum (3g net carbs with 35g protein). It mixes things up a bit in all the shake monotony. I might eat like 4 a week to keep things interesting.

I'd opt for the muscle milk bars or the Odyssey bar. The latter being the least preferred of the two.

pre cooked chicken is goood...i eat it in class...but hey if not i guess a bar is ok, just make sure you check to see that there's no hydrolyzed collagen...this is gelatin that is protein which isnt absorbed in the body.
