    HRT in Colorado- Laws?

My buddy lives in Colorado and just went on HRT. He said his doc told him the laws in CO say hey can't have a script and needs to come in once a week for a shot. Anyone know if this is true?

nothing comes up from a google search.. my guess would be that he wants to maintain control of it so that you aren't giving yourself higher doses or he wants to charge you for an OV every week

Yeah, he wants to control the dose like I do and not have to go in every week. I suspect his doc is lying. I am coaching him on how to go about things, but I don't know about the laws in his state.

I had an Endo (in CA) basically try to tell me the same thing. He said that's why it's called it a 'controlled' substance; meaning it has to be controlled under their care. That was just plain BS. I had a legal prescription in my hands within 3 days after that moron making that false statement. Don't believe him.

If your doctor is lying to you and doesn't trust you enough to tell you the truth... how can you trust him?

I'd find a different doctor or come up with an alternative plan.

He is going to switch doctors. He is letting his levels crash and then he will start from scratch. The guy didn't even test his prostate or anything. Friggin idiot.....
