    fatty liver and TRT

    doc says i have a fatty liver, how bad is this when taking TRT

    Did he have an ultrasound done on you to come to that conclusion? I don't know if TRT has any impact on fatty liver, as we don't generally believe that TRT (not oral test) has a liver impact. Not knowing anything more, I'd just advise losing fat weight and watching the alcohol consumption if either are a problem for you.

    A better question might be......How bad is a fatty liver when you combine that with low test levels? Probably need to educate yourself on what having a fatty liver means.

    The body stores fat in the liver before it stores it in the rest of the body. It also burns the liver fat faster than it burns fat from the rest of the body. This is nature's design to keep a "small" supply of fat in the liver for fast fat-to-energy conversion. The problem is when you have too much organ fat.

    There are some studies that shows a relationship between low T and organ fat. Low T has been shown to correlate to higher organ fat.
