Dumb question about needles and syring

Ok so i just ordered 18 gauge needles from AR, will this fit on my syring?

Are needles in size fit all, i got 21 gauge right now. I just remove the needle and place the other on top????? sorry not sure if that will work or there are different size of syring.

i use 18g for drawing blood, like they do in blood drives. Yiannick, you should have asked man, we could have giving you some suggestions where to get them from! LOL, so how long is the 18 g. needle?

thanks bass i am good, i will get them at the drug store they give me like 5 at a time but i will try to get more tell them that my medical doctor wants me to inject twice a week, i also found another prolotherapy guy that can treat my hip joint, he will get me the 3-6 inch needles needed for the prolo and will do the treatments, it will cost a lot less then 350$, maybe like 70$ per treatment since he got the needles and i got the dextrose.

The luer-lock style just screws onto the barrel of the syringe. Get B-D brand hubs and syringes. Easy to change out...that is...maybe draw with 18ga., then switch hubs and inject with 25ga. Yes, you can go that small or even smaller depending on the comfort level you desire. Not sure where you are located or if any funny state laws apply to you, but you can order this stuff over the internet and buy in large quantity. No need to go to the pharmacy for 5 syringes at a time....at least where I live.

I used to draw with a 21ga., then switch hubs to 23ga., then eventually 25ga. I purchased some 18 ga. hubs to draw with...man they are nasty looking. Not throwing them away, but hope I never have to use them to inject.

Not for me either.

18 gauge is perfect for fast pulls from the vial, but you will want 23g or 25g for actual injections. 1.5" for glutes and 1" everywhere else.

Just enforcing the info above. We don't want to you to hate injections because you are trying to do it with a harpoon.
