    deca

    what is wrong with running straight deca ?

    Welcome to the board, IronDoug.

    Deca tends to shut people's natural production of testosterone down hard and cause "deca-dick" (temporary partial or full impotence).

    Using testosterone at a dose that is slightly higher than the deca is usually the approach used to avoid deca-dick. However, this method does not always work--some people are acutely prone to deca-dick, others are not. Generally, testosterone is the base of every cycle. Compounds like deca are generally stacked with testosterone.

    but if u did take deca alone u for a while and then get off everything goes back to normal right?

    It depends on:
    1. How old you are (young guys can mess themselves up if they cycle too soon)
    2. How long the deca cycle was
    3. How prone one is to getting deca-dick.

    Generally, deca-dick subsides a few weeks after you've finished your cycle.
