another dextrose question
so i've read plenty of threads of this. i know exaclty what it does and to take it pwo. but my question is should i put it in my protein shake or drink it seperatly. if its seperate what should i drink first. and i know the ratio is 2:1 but how do i measure it if im takin in like 30g protein from a shake and also protein from my meal. i dont have a measuring cup.

put it in the PWO shake, depending on where you get it, it should come with a scoop to let you know how much you are getting. I just bought a digital scale that goes in .1 gram increments, you would be surprised how much you use something like that... only about $30

i put my glucose(dextrose) in along with my whey isolate along with 10 grams of creatine,10 grams of fructose and 20 grams of glutamine and drink it straight after my workout.
if you wanted to be really fussy you could drink the dextrose immediately after training wait 15 minutes and then have a whey protein drink.
too much hassle for me so i mix them and see no problem with doing that.
a teaspoon of dextrose is approx 10 grams so use 6 teaspoons.

Add it in your pwo shake. 1/2 cup is 80 grams of dex roughly

ok, so i emailed them and they said for every scoop which says 20ml on it=10 grams of carbs. when they say carbs do they mean dextrose, cause if i wanted 70grams of it 7 scoops would be alot more then half a cup.

when they say carbs, yes that is dex. 70 grams of dex is def more than 1/2 a cup. I use three regular protein scoops of dextrose for 90 g of dextrose.

I use 3 table spoons of dex, along w/ one scoop of malto and 2 of protien, mmmmmmmmm bitch!
