hey
what is r-ala most often used for? cutting or bulking? both? would it benefit a endurance athlete if taken with meal prior to a training session/race etc?

Used during both by alot of people.
Probably not the best idea to take right before an endurance event as it can lower your blood sugar.
ALA, R-ALA, and k-R-ALA is usually taken in prior to ingesting a carb meal to help shuttle nutrients appropriately.
