    cardio question

    if i do cardio at say 6am for 45-60mins (45 being min and 60 being max)

    at 65-75% of my max hr (220-20 = 200 * 065 =130, 0.,75=150)

    so i should aim to work at between 130-150bpm

    the one thing i was unsure of, was what should i have pre cardio?

    obviously i dont have a post cardio meal or anything,m but after should i have some dextrose + whey as i would after a normal workout, and how much?

    protein both.... i dont do carbs after i do am cardio.. i wait an hour or some befo any carbs...

    Pre-cardio = Nothing
    Post-cardio = fat/protein

    hey Swole,

    i hate to be a pain and ask for more info, but what would be good to have after cardio?

    i was thinking 60g whey but im not sure what as the fat source

    flax, fish oil, or peanut butter in the shake. but swole would know better

    Just make sure its natural peanut butter. You can also have nuts. Sometimes I go for whole eggs, but im not sure that is better than other options as far as nutritional value, but i love eggs.

    At least 30g protein, 10-15g fat. Sometimes I will have a shake 4 eggs (2 whole, 2 whites) giving me about 50g protein
