    Not enough weight in crap gym ..what is?

    the best way to add size ?

    is drop sets or pyramiding up or down or supersets the way to go?

    I dont have anymore free weights that 385 pounds .. I have a feeling after today I am gonna need more stress.

    whats the best way?

    why dont you join a gym? In corporating all 3 are all very useful

    well .. my gym is at my work... its free and not too bad, I guess i could but besides that ..whaddya think is the most effective?

    drop sets from heavy to light

    or light to heavy .. or basically all of em?

    I usually do drop sets from heavy to light....thats a great way to really fatigue the muscle

    Why not go spend a hundred bucks of your own money and bring some additional weight to your workplace's gym?

    pyramid up, light to heavy. lets you get a feel of the heavier weights with low reps.

    personally after warming up i go heavy as possible and try to get 5-6 strict reps then i drop down to a lighter weight that i can hit againd for 5-6...this way you're breaking down your muscle w/ the heaviest weight possible and making adapt to that weight..this has been effective for me b/c everyweek my weight or my reps go up..but my work-out partner is just the opposite his body seems to respond better going light to heavy..it might take awhile to figure out what works for you

    You have 385 pounds of free weights? You must be a freaking monster if that much weigth can't provide a stimilus for growth. I might of read the question wrong, but. .
    See if someone else who works out at the gym wants to split the cost of some more weights?

    My body responds best to pyramiding... but I throw in some drop sets every so often and do quite a few Rest Pauses to keep my body guessing.

    I respond best to warm up .. and then heavy blasts.

    for chest I would do something like this.

    warm up with arm swinging wildly ..
    then light flat bench
    then 225 to failure
    then to 345
    then to 385 right to a set of body weight dips to failure
    again

    then 80lbs db press (heaviest)
    to dips
    again

    80 lbs db press to 45 lbs flyes

    that pumps me up about enough to explode
    takes about 25 minutes tops
    swing arms around wildly for about 5 minutes .. go eat and have a dump

    EVERYTIME

    Chicahomico.. yah.. I may do that .. I have a olympic set at home... guess I can 'donate" for the time being.

    Just join a gym... its the end up summer, some specials might still be going on as gym revenue in the summer is terrible.
