I suffer from shoulder impingement sysndrome
I suffer from shoulder impingement sysndrome and sometimes when I get done boxing (especially when I throw alot of overhand rights) my arm absoloutly kills the next day!
I was thinking when I get home from the gym, I would start putting a moist heating pad on it for 10 minutes and than ice it for about 10 minutes. OR I could just ice it for 20 minutes and forget about the heating pad.
Also when I go in the shower I was thinking of first soaking it in the hot water and than the cold?
Does anyone else suffer from this? I really don't want to have to get surgery.

What I plan on doing BEFORE my workout is use the heating pad on my shoulder for 20 minutes.
AFTER my workout I will ice my shoulder down for 20 minutes.Last edited by Aggression; 09-13-2004 at 03:56 AM.
