i dont think it really matters when u do it just make sure its been a few hours since u have eatin anything

Phuck No, don't do that on an empty tank. That totally relies on carbohydrate metabolism, which is very low after fasting overnight. Meaning there is an extremely high possibility of tapping into your amino acid pool (AKA: muscle).

Look at the thread title. I think he means high intensity interval training. If so, I wouldn't do it on an empty stomach.

HIIT on an empty stomach is suicide. Low intenstiy, constant rate cardio is fine without food.

take some glutamine before you start. this will help to aid in muscle sparing.
