How's my chest routine?
Hey guys, doing chest today, how's my routine look:
Bench 3x8
Incline 3x8
Decline 3x8
Cable Crossovers 3x8
Butterfly 3x10
All are done till failure. I have a question though, is decline really that necessary? I never see ANYONE on this site talk about it. If not, I may cut it out completely and go to 5 sets on everything. Let me know what ya think.

Any of various insects of the order Lepidoptera, characteristically having slender bodies, knobbed antennae, and four broad, usually colorful wings.

I guess you might know them as DB flies. Any other input on my choices of exercises/sets?

I generally will either do 4 sets of 3 or 3 sets of 4..whatever I feel like. Maybe throw in some caterpillars

I'd drop declines personally. But it's up to you.

Why would declines not be a benefitial chest exercise?
BTW Swolecat, I used a few of your tips today and I must say going down 3 seconds and up 2 killed my chest on 4 exercises more than my last workout with 8!

Ive heard with decline you lessen the "saftey zone" on your shoulders and are at more risk of an injury due to bad form/swaying etc.
