need help with extra credit for class
I was asked to give my opinion on the difference between burning
fat and fat loss, or if I think there is a difference. I think the answer
is yes, they are different but I am having trouble putting it in my own words. Any help appreciated.

not really sure what theyre asking but i would assume that burning fat would be an active path to fat loss, like excercising regularly. You can lose fat from being sick in a hospital bed, but thats not the same thing as burning it off i guess. i think its just a question of language.

One thing leads to another. Burning fat leads to fat loss. They're not the same. Burning fat is the action, and fat loss is the reaction. If this is for school, what grade are you in? I haven't had to do extra credit since grammar school.

Fuck I'm so glad I/m not still in school.
I mean, Toddy how does this essay help you prepare for a future career?
WTF? Also what does my response have to do with questions on a steroid forum.
I believe ryan26 summed up the meat of the argument though- just stretch his 3 sentances into 500 words or however many it is you need.
Also- insert some discussion on the methods of fat burning to the add filler to the paper.

LOL I have that class next semester this fall. I would say something to the effect that "fat loss" is a very general term; many paths can lead to fat loss. "Burning fat" more refers to thermogenesis; it seems a more specific statement. What the other members said is also valid in the same respect. Just exaggerate. Good Luck!

I can see a discussion between fat and weight as murph said but burning fat and losing fat seems basically like the same thing to me
The only way I could see a difference is if you say burning fat = cardio and fat loss = Liposuction.
