Is it possible to burn 3500 calories of fat in one day?

maybe
I know I burnt 10K+ Calories climbing Mt. Whitney, not sure how much of it is fat though. Too bad it all came back when I got off the mountain and consumed too much pizza.

Of course you could burn 3500 calories in a day, marathon runners & triathaletes can burn way more than that, but that's extreme. You pay a steep price for burning so much so fast--like metabolizing muscle!
Why the need to rush it?

Damn you guys are bad....
seriously though I would imagine burning 3500 calories a day would have a very negative impact on your muscle.
