When you do chinups/pullups does your chest touch the bar at the top?
At the top of your lift do you touch the bar with your chest??? I do not, I normally clear my chin and pull hard as I can until my back feels flexed. The reason I was asking is because I read something that talked about touching your chest to the bar. How do you guys do it???

It all depends on the person. If your upper arms are longer and your forearms are shorter you would be higher up at the top than a person with the opposite. Just go with a full range of motion and squeeze hard at the top.

If I go wide I go to chin level on pull ups as its not feasible to go any higher unless I start leaning back like some, I believe it's called, "bent over row pullup"
On shoulder width, I go to where my chest is over the bar but I dont do shoulder width cause I dont feel anything...
